Visitors

Earth Fair always occurs the last weekend in April each year and is held in conjunction with the Blue Water Conservation District's annual tree sale. We are grateful for the successful partnership with St. Clair County Parks and Recreation Department for the use of beautiful Goodells County Park. We have designed Earth Fair with children and families in mind. Stop by anytime during the weekend and stay for an hour, or three! Don’t forget some spending cash; there are lots of products to buy ranging from $1 - $50. In fact, Earth Fair can be a significant source of funding for many of the smaller businesses, farms and non-profits. If you want to purchase gifts, you can be assured your money is staying local and supporting a good cause. Also be sure to bring your camera to capture all the entertaining moments you’ll be sure to experience.

Exhibitors & Food Vendors

// Exhibitor Registration is CLOSED.

// Food Vendor Registration is FULL.

Is Earth Fair right for you? To be an exhibitor, you must have a message, cause, product or service that specifically addresses the environment. The intent of our event is education and inspiration: a visitor to your booth should be exposed to new resources and ideas that help them become a better, informed citizen of our earth. If you are a new exhibitor considering participation please contact us first to find out if you are a fit for our event. Each new exhibitor must go through a pre-screening process by our committee.

At Earth Fair, we walk the walk, not just talk the talk! We are all about using earth friendly alternatives whenever possible; this includes products made from renewable resources (plants, not oil) and recycled material. All exhibitors should take every effort to use these types of materials at their booth. Michigan Green Safe Products is a Michigan-based company whose earth-friendly products are made from renewable resources allowing them to be 100% biodegradable. The Earth Fair Hospitality Area uses MI Green Safe Products exclusively. Gordon Food Service also offers environmentally-friendly options. Styrofoam is strictly prohibited. In order to align with our low-waste goals, exhibitors are expected to recycle compost or carry-in, carry-out as much waste as possible. Please let us know how we can help you!

Exhibitor Registration
Exhibitors must complete and send in the Registration Packet and sign off on our Exhibitor Terms and Agreement. Sending in a registration form does not automatically guarantee participation. If you are a new exhibitor, please be as thorough as possible in your description so our committee can adequately review your registration form. Registration opens in January every year and closes in February. Absolutely no late registrations are accepted.
Who Attends Earth Fair?
We estimate that 12,000 people attend Earth Fair. You’ll see a broad cross-section of St. Clair County’s residents, from Port Huron, surrounding towns, and Macomb, Lapeer and Sanilac Counties. On Friday, 1,200 school children also attend Earth Fair for field trips.
Can I Sell at Earth Fair?
Yes, non-profit groups are free to sell for their own fund-raising purposes. For-profit organizations may sell environmentally-relevant goods and services. For-profits pay a slightly higher registration fee for selling goods. Visitors to Earth Fair expect to purchase products ranging from $1-$30, and up to $50. All products intended to be sold will be pre-screened by the Earth Fair committee.
If I Decide to Exhibit, How Will the Day Go?
Setup takes place on Thursday between 12:00pm and 8:00pm and on Friday between 7:00am and 8:30am. The buildings are locked during overnight hours. Earth Fair formally starts at 9:00am on Friday and all exhibitors must refrain from setup after that time (there is no vehicular traffic through the park during Earth Fair). During allocated setup times you may drive your vehicle up to or into the buildings for unloading. The fair ends promptly at 4:00pm on Saturday, at which time cleanup and break down can begin.
Are Food Vendors Invited to Participate?
Yes, we reserve a limited number of spots for food vendors based on a first-come, first-served basis. Food Vendors are required to use biodegradeable and/or compostable food serviceware products. Styrofoam is strictly prohibited. Earth Day is about using earth friendly alternatives whenever possible; this includes products made from renewable resources (plants, not oil) and recycled material. Michigan Green Safe Products is a Michigan-based company whose earth-friendly products are made from renewable resources allowing them to be 100% biodegradable.
